SmartTweezers is an R-L-C meter in a set of tweezers. SmartTweezers have a unique mechanical and electronic design patented in several countries that incorporates replacable tips connected to precision SMD probe. The unit is designed for component verification on the production line, impedance testing and sorting of SMT components. SMTSmartTweezers cuts enormously the time needed to troubleshoot and debug complex PCB's making making process of locating faulty components an easy task.

SMTTweezers type probe and well visible c display, in conjunction with auto-ranging measurement modes for R, L, and C allow the operator to concentrate on the component under test. In effect, testing, sorting and evaluation of components become much quicker and less expensive.

The main display shows the reading. The secondary, top display shows the reading of additional parameters or measurement conditions. When multiple features are present, the secondary display shows one of the values. The Bar Graph shows an analog indication of the measured value.

The Smart Tweezers is able to measure voltage. In the AUTO MODE, it measures DC voltage from 100µV to 800mV. In the TRACE MODE, it shows an oscilloscope-like picture of AC voltage.

The SmartTweezers measure continuity. The beeping sound is heard for resistance readings below the threshold, or to indicate a momentary open circuit.
SMTTweezers tips are made of non-magnetic stainless steel and are gold-plated.
SmartTweezers incorporate a JOG DIAL button to choose a selected function or change the settings. Rotating the JOG DIAL button allows for a choice a function. Pressing the JOG DIAL button activates this function and makes it appear on the display.
